Justin D. Sudweeks

Justin D. Sudweeks is a partner and is a graduate of Seattle University School of Law with an undergraduate degree from BYU. Washington Law & Politics recognized Justin as a “rising star”. He has practiced law for 25 years, during the course of which he has been involved in the resolution of construction defect claims involving dozens of condominium associations. Justin spent two years as counsel for one of the largest insurers of construction contractors and sub-contractors before joining our practice. His experience also includes the resolution of construction defect claims on behalf of contractors, insurers, and homeowner associations.
Justin is one of a handful of attorneys to actually have tried a construction defect case on behalf of a homeowner’s association to a jury. Justin also has extensive experience in mediating construction defect claims on behalf of homeowner associations, both for new construction defects and conversions. His efforts have resulted in the recovery of millions of dollars for those associations.
In addition to his notable achievements in construction defect litigation, Justin brings invaluable expertise in handling 1st party insurance claims. Over the years, he has skillfully managed a plethora of such claims, ensuring equitable settlements for his clients. His breadth of experience in 1st party claims and mediation has made him an asset not only to homeowner associations but also to various other clients navigating complex insurance matters.
Justin also enjoys working with homeowner associations to revise and draft their condominium association governing documents. He is active in drafting, editing, and conducting research for the firm’s appellate work.
